FAQ/Policies

*How far in advance should I book my Party/Event/ Visit?

      -We recommend booking anywhere from 4-8 weeks in advance. We can accommodate to

last minute requests, although you may need to be flexible on your character request and

activities you may want.

 

*Do you accept Credit Cards or PayPal?

     -We accept PayPal and all major Credit Cards/Debit Cards and charge a 5% handling fee. Cash is accepted by hand delivery only. We require the remainder of the party fee due at the start of the party to be in cash.

 

*Do you charge extra for smoking environments?

    - We DO NOT attend events in a smoking environment. We ask that the events be held in smoke free environments so that our costumes do not get damaged. If the performer shows up and the party location smells of cigarette smoke, there will be a $30 Dry cleaning fee that will be expected at the beginning of the party. If your home has been smoked in, we cannot visit or have a party inside that home. Thank you for respecting this policy. We frequently visit children in hospitals and cannot have any lingering odors in the costumes.

 

*How far are you willing to travel?

     -We are willing to go as far as you would like! We charge $0.55 a mile.

 

*What if you don't have the Princess or Character that I want?

     -We are growing and adding new Princesses/Characters every week! Feel free to ask us about it or make a special request. If we are given enough time to plan, I'm positive that we can figure something out!

 

* Please understand that we require that we are the only Princesses or Characters that will be attending your event. We do not allow other companies to join us. We have specific values we hold and do not want others to associate the other company with us. If we find that you invited another company we will leave with payment in full. This is not tolerated.

 

*How do I book my Party or Event?

     -Fill out our party application here on our web page under the "Contact Us" Tab and click "Book Now". Another way is by sending us an E-mail: ADreamComeTrueParty4You@gmail.com Or texting (435-225-9412) is the easiest way, and we can get things set up and ready from there. A few questions we will need you to answer will be:

          1. What is the requested date of your Party or Event?

          2. What time would you like your Character/Princess to arrive?

          3. Which Princess/Character would you like to book?

          4. Which Party Package would you like? OR How long would you like to schedule a visit for?

          5. What is the location of your Event/Party?

          6. What is the venue of your Event/Party? (i.e. Home, Church, Pool?)

          7. What are the directions to the location? (Anything specific we should know about? -- like road construction?)

          8. What is the nature of the Event? (i.e. Wedding, Birthday Party, Corporate Event?)

          9. How many people will be invited? We need to have a guess of how many to plan for. If the number happens to change we need you to contact us! We will get another final count one week before the Event/Party is to take place.

          10. If for a Birthday Party:

                    -What is the age of the birthday celebrator?

                    -What is the name of the birthday celebrator?

          11. Is there anything you would like us to know or that we should know? (i.e. Is this a surprise? Are there any food allergies? Have you seen us before? Where?)

          12. What age group(s) is/are going to be in attendance?

          13. What's YOUR name and a phone number so we can reach you?

 

 

*How do I know if I have secured my party?

     -After we get all of the information that we need and a payment , we will send you a confirmation email or text including any specifics about your party/event. A few days before your party/event we will call or text you and confirm everything again.

 

 

*How do I pay for my party?

     -Credit Card/Debit Card is our favorite way! If that doesn't work for you, please let us know and we can work something else out. We DON'T  accept personal checks. We do accept cash but it must be hand delivered to us. The $20 up front booking fee is not refundable and needs to be paid within one week of scheduling your Event/Party. 50% of the total cost (Plus Travel) must be paid within one week of scheduling your Event/Party. Any down payment is non-refundable. If you decide to cancel your party you will forfeit your down payment. We will gladly work with you to reschedule your party if needed.  Full amount of remaining payment is due upon our performers arrival to your Event/Party.

 

 

*Performers Arrival

     - Performers will try to be to the designated place at least 10 minutes early. If we are entertaining at a home, we recommend that you keep the children away from the street facing windows at the performers expected arrival time to maintain a magical entrance.

 

 

*Multiple Characters/Princesses

     -We do accommodate if more than one Character/Princess is wanted. It may be harder to schedule, but if you give us enough time to prepare we will try our hardest to accommodate.

 

 

*Should I tip my Character/Princess? How Much?

     -If you feel that your character/princess has done a good job, tipping is appreciated and accepted. 10%-20% is a normal amount in most cases. If your performer has exceeded expectations please let them know.

 

 

*Where should I hold my Event/Party?

     -We suggest having it close to home, if not in a home. Some of our princesses have very big dresses though, so we ask in general to have a place where everyone can sit and dance together and be comfortable. The roomier the better! Also, please respect our characters/princesses and their costumes and so please do not hold events/parties at places that may make it difficult for our performers to maintain dignity. We need to be informed of any special venues so we can plan ahead with you in order to accommodate your needs and wants.

 

 

*Outdoor Parties

     -We love to perform outdoors if the weather permits. However, please make sure that there is plenty of cool shade for our performers since they are wearing heavy costumes. If you are planning an outdoor party please have a back up venue plan in case you need to hold the event indoors. Please let us know this information as well! Also, with outdoor summer parties, water guns or pools are common so we ask that you please make sure that your party guests don't get our Characters/Princesses wet. We rely on you to keep party guests from being too rambunctious.

 

 

*What if I need to reschedule or cancel my Event/Party?

     -If you reschedule your party we need to know as soon as possible. We need a minimum of a weeks notice. We will try our hardest to accomidate your needs. If rescheduling cannot happen, you will forfeit your down payment and booking fee. 

 

 

* Why are all of your Characters/Princesses costs so different?

     -Some of the costumes are more intricate and difficult than others and for that reason some of the Characters/Princesses are more expensive than others. Many costumes require a few hours to fully prepare. Also depending on the party package selected, another "Helper" may be needed to come and help out with whatever is needed. Their time and cost is a small additional fee. Talk to us if you have any questions about this please.

 

 

*Is the booking fee refundable?

     -The booking fee is NOT refundable. However, if we fail to deliver your party based on a no-show performer or a problem on OUR part, we will do our best to either reschedule or issue you a refund of the cost of the Event/Party and booking fee. ALSO, Please understand that we require a safe environment for our performers. If, for any reason, our performers arrive and feel unsafe at the environment provided, they have the right to leave. They will notify us and we will discuss the situation afterwards. It is possible that no refund will be offered at all.

 

 

* When do you come do parties?

     -We do parties Monday-Saturday. Although most of our Characters/Princesses also have other jobs, it's important that you give us a minimum of a month to plan and prepare for the event/party you want. The more time you give us to plan and prepare, the more magical the experience will be! Please note that we do have some days on our calendars that we do charge additional fees if you book for that day (I.E. Valentines Day, Christmas Eve etc.) and prices may vary for those days.

 

 

*Party Guests and Party Guest Count

     -Don't worry if there is a boy that wants to come to the princess party! Our performers strive to make everyone feel as welcome as possible! In order to give each child the attention they deserve, we suggest that you only have up to 10-12 guests per performer. If you plan on having more than 15 guests we will need to bring an extra helper and this will be a small extra cost.

 

*Last Minute Emergencies

     -We reserve the right to reschedule your Event/Party under extreme circumstances including, but not limited to, serious personal or family illness, death in the family, travel emergencies, natural disasters or catastrophic or severe weather conditions. We will strive to ensure your party can be rescheduled at a convenient time.

 

 

*Do you ever participate in events other than Birthdays?

     -YES! We can come to ANY event! Other special and fun events might include Anniversary parties, Award Ceremonies, Baby Showers, Christmas parties, Corporate Events, Fair/Festival, Graduation, Grand Opening to a Store, Fundraising Events, Halloween Parties, Holiday Parties, Reunions, Seminars, Church Activities, Bridal Showers, Conventions, Cruises, Launch Parties, Luncheons, Parades, Public Events, Restaurants, Wedding Receptions, Wedding Ceremonies, Work Shops and many, MANY more!

 

 

*Charity and Hospital Visits

     -We do participate in charity! Please contact us and let us know the situation and we will work something out! Depending on the location of the hospital, we may need to charge a small fee to help with gas and travel, but we are more than willing to help bring a smile to someone in need. We actually make it a goal to visit a hospital at least once a month on a charity visit, so please let us know if we can help!

 

 

*Final Count/RSVP Policy

     -We need a final count 7 days prior to the event/party. This will be the number used to plan appropriate quantities of prizes, accessories, crafts and costumes (If applicable). This final count INCLUDES the birthday child. If a guest is included in the final count and does not attend, unfortunatley we can not provide a refund. In addition, we will not be able to accommodate--For crafts-- to unexpected guests or siblings that were not counted for. We only bring enough for the pre-paid number.

 

 

*Atmosphere and Party Conditions

     -We require that all guests at the party be respectful to the performer. If at any time the performer feels uncomfortable because of the behavior of those present, they will stop the party and leave with payment in full. Behaviors including, but not limited to harsh or cruel comments, the use of alcohol or drugs, smoking indoors, unwanted touching or advances, disrespecting of costumes or performance, physical or verbal abuse of children or the display or use of weapons will not be tolerated. An unsafe atmosphere violates our agreement and we have no obligation to continue the party. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone. If the performer is physically threatened or violated this is considered a breach of contract and the performer reserves the right to leave and no refund will be given. We want to make your event fun and wonderful but we must see to the safety and comfort of our performers first. Your understanding and assistance in this is greatly appreciated. Also, an adult must be within sight and hearing range of the Event/Party at all times.

 

 

*Liability

     -A Dream Come True Party is NOT responsible for any damage, injury or other accidents that may occur while onsite. We are also not responsible for allergic reactions that may be caused by food, face paint, balloons or any other items. A supervising adult is required at all Events or Parties with children under the age of 18 and they will be responsible for the care and management of all children present. As a client, you will be held financially liable for any damage incurred to our party assets while we are onsite at your location. This includes the performers' costume and the entertainment materials. When you pay your deposit to book a party or event with us, you are agreeing to provide a safe environment for party guests and the performer.

 

 

*NOTE: We are pleased to provide fun and entertaining performers for your events, but please note that it is not our intent to violate copyright laws. Our Characters and Princesses are generic, NOT name brand, copy righted or licensed characters. If you need a licensed, copy righted character at your event, please contact the company/copy right holder for the character you require.
