A Dream Come True Party
A Little Bit About Me!
My name is Alexxa Owen and I am the owner and main face of A Dream Come True Party. In April of 2013 I went and auditioned for a large childrens' performers group and while I was there I met a wonderful young couple who offered me a job to work for their character booking company. I worked through them and did a few fun events!
I ended up falling head over heels in love with getting to brighten the lives of other in such a special way! I was required to purchase all of my own performance costumes and decided I should just start my own company close to home!
All of the other companies in Utah charge more than $50 for a 15-20 minute visit from a princess—even more for a pirate or super hero—and I don’t see those as reasonable prices, let alone affordable.
I also really wanted to bring the magic that a character party brings to my home area. I want this to be a common and affordable thing! I know there is magic in meeting these princesses and characters, I’ve seen it!
Some of my goals:
1- I make it a goal to be modest. This is not really a goal, more of a standard. I want to show everyone that you can be beautiful, graceful, popular and loved when you are modest--which is the opposite of what the world tries to tell everyone. I also make it a point to talk about true beauty when I get the opportunity too! I always get so many compliments on my costumes because of their uniqueness, perfectness, their quality and because of their modesty and I like to keep it that way!
2-I want to make everyone smile and enjoy the magic that I bring to events and parties! I love to make people smile and laugh! I know that laughter is the world's greatest medicine! Along with making everyone smile, I strive to make every event we attend as magical as it can be!
3-I make it a goal to giving back to my community and to serve as often as I can. A big portion of my business is all service and I love that! Currently I am striving to participate in at least 1 service event a month! I'm so grateful for these opportunities and look forward to the many more to come!
